
Thyme Dandruff Treatment
Mix a teaspoon of thyme oil with two tablespoons of almond oil. Warm slightly, massage into scalp and leave for 20 minutes. Wash using a mild shampoo and rinse with cool water.
Thyme Hair Rinse
Boil 3 tablespoons of dried thyme into 1 cup of water for 10 minutes. Strain the infusion and leave it to cool. Rinse hair with this daily. Don’t wash out.
Strawberry Dandruff Mask
Strawberries are rich in salicylic acid which is very good for fighting dandruff. Mash a few strawberries until a smooth paste is formed then add two or three drops of tea tree oil, rosemary oil or peppermint oil. Apply the mask to washed hair and leave for an hour.
Camphor Oil Mask for Dandruff
Camphor is a herbal substance derived from the camphor tree. When camphor oil is added to a hair mask, it can treat viral conditions or bacterial and fungal infections of the scalp. To cure dandruff, mix a few drops of camphor oil in some coconut oil or jojoba oil, or even a tablespoon of olive oil and massage into your hair and scalp. Do it at least several times to see results.
Camphor Rinse
Another good dandruff treatment is a final rinse prepared from a cup of rosemary or thyme tea with two-three drops of camphor oil in it.
Coconut Lemon Mask
Mix two tablespoons of lemon or lime juice with four tablespoons of slightly warmed coconut oil and massage this into your scalp. Leave it in for a few hours or overnight and wash it out with cool water the next morning. Apply at least once a week.
Ginger Dandruff Treatment
Mix one tablespoon of ginger juice, one teaspoon of lime juice and two drops of tea tree oil. Massage into hair roots and let dry before shampooing. Apply at least twice a week.
