Bath Oils and Salts

Few things are as therapeutic as a hot, fragrant bath. Oils and herbs can relax and smooth tired skin and a tired spirit.

Jojoba Oil
The jojoba oil will soften your skin while the peppermint oil refreshes your mind.
• 1 cup jojoba oil
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 3 drop essential peppermint oil
• 2 tbsp. Vitamin E extract
Combine the jojoba, vanilla and peppermint.
Add the Vitamin E from Vitamin E capsules.
Combine well.Transfer the bath oil into a small bottle.
Add a few drops to your bath. Refrigerate the oil.

Lavender Bath
This is a fragrant luxury that will totally relax you.
• 1 cup dried lavender leaves
• 1 cup almond oil
• 4 tsp. Vitamin E capsule oil
Finely chop the lavender buds.
Combine the lavender and almond oil in a jar. Stir the ingredients and close the jar. Shake the jar every day for about 2 weeks.
Strain the oil and discard any lavender solids.
Add the oil from the Vitamin E capsule.
Shake the jar again to combine. Keep in dark place.

Eucalyptus Bath
This is a great healing bath when you have the flu. The oils will definitely clear your sinuses, and the Epson salt with relax those sore muscles.
• 1 cup Epson salt
• 10 drops eucalyptus oil
• 5 drop spearmint oil
Combine the salt and the oils in a jar.
Use 4 tablespoons in your bath.

Bergamot Bath Salts
For a totally relaxing soak, this will calm and sooth you.
• ½ cup sea salt
• 8 drops bergamot essential oil
Combine all ingredients in a jar and keep by the bath.
Use 4 tablespoons in the bath.

Skin Softening Herbal Bath
Enjoy the aroma of fresh herbs in your bath.
• ¼ cup chamomile
• 2 cups water
• 2 tbsp. milk powder
Bring the water to a boil and add the chamomile.
Let sit for 20 minutes. Strain the chamomile solids and discard.
Stir in the milk powder. Keep in a jar. Use ¼ cup in your bath.

Revitalizing Bath
This bath will stimulate your sense and invigorate you.
• 1 cup Epson salt
• ¼ cup baking soda
• 10 drops spearmint essential oils
• 5 drops eucalyptus essential oils
Combine the Epson salt and baking soda in a jar.
Add the essential oils.
Close the jar and keep by the bath.
Use a ¼ cup for each bath.
