Natural Shea Butter Lip Balm

This absolutely luscious salve provides relief and a healing boost for dry, roughened lips. YIELDS: one ounce
1 teaspoon grated beeswax
2 teaspoons shea butter
1 teaspoon copra oil
2 teaspoons almond tree oil
10 drops of essential oils, optional
Pinch of stevia, optional
What you may need: mensuration spoons, saucepan, tiny whisk, rubber spatula, salve tubes, jars or tins to carry a one ounce batch of salve

To Make: Begin the saucepan on medium heat. Once it reaches a boil, scale back heat to simmer. Place the beeswax and shea butter within the prime of the saucepan and canopy. Simmer till liquid, stirring often. Add the copra oil and stir till liquid. To preserve the useful nutrients, don’t overheat. Take away from heat, take the highest wash the saucepan, and dry with a towel thus no water drips into your liquid butter. Add the almond tree oil and stevia, if desired, and stir with the whisk. Next, stir within the essential oils, scraping any of the hardened cooled mixture off the edges of the pot and back to the liquid oils. Pour into your jars, cowl with wrap, and let stand undisturbed for four hours or nightlong. Place the lids on tightly and label with contents and date. Note: If the mixture hardens an excessive amount of before you’ll pour it, gently soften it once more within the saucepan.

To Store: Store in an exceedingly cool dry place aloof from direct daylight. Use at intervals a year.

To Use: To use, take away a tiny low quantity from the jar together with your tip and unfold onto your lips.
