• Remove all traces of makeup from your lips before you sleep.

• Scrubbing your lips is important to ensure that they stay healthy and soft. Removing dead skin cells is a must to make sure that your lips don’t get any infection. Apply a small amount of sugar scrub to your lips.
• Apply a natural lip balm at least twice a day to moisturize and protect your lips.
• Hydrating your body hydrates your lips. Drink at least eight glasses of water a day.
• Do not lick your lips as once the saliva evaporates, it will leave the lips even drier because the enzymes in the saliva damages the protective barrier of the lip skin eventually leading to peeling.
