Vertigo is the sensations of spinning or whirling, loss of balance and dizziness either by looking down from a great height or caused by disease affecting the inner ear or the vestibular nerve making the person feel sick and as if they or the objects around them are moving ..
For some people vertigo will only occur once, but for others it might reoccur until the cause is determined and appropriate medication is taken. Vertigo is often caused by an inner ear problem.
Symptoms of vertigo may last from a few minutes to a few hours and can be frequently occurring again and again like nausea or vomiting, headache, sweating,double vision,loss of co-ordination,weakness,hearing problem, ringing sound in the ear etc.,

• Vertigo can be triggered by sleep deprivation. It might be a result of stress or lack of sleep. Get adequate amount of sleep in order to feel better.
• Sometimes vertigo can be caused by dehydration. Reduce sodium intake and drink plenty of water. Drink more of water during times you tend to become dehydrated. Staying hydrated can help minimize dizziness and balance issues.
• Yoga can reduce stress while increasing flexibility and balance. It trains your brain to compensate for the cause of vertigo. Try simple yoga poses when you’re feeling dizzy. Be very careful with anything that involves sudden bending forward as that will make symptoms feel stronger.
